 Marie is a Catholic laywoman, passionate about empowering people in their growth towards wholeness. She companions individuals and groups through counselling, spiritual direction, retreats and professional supervision. Marie offers reflective and formative experiences for people from various faith traditions. Marie’s experience includes: 30 years as a teacher, spiritual director, practicum supervisor in counselling, extensive experience in the areas of adult education, retreat and parish ministry. Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Christian Spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. She is a graduate of the Institute for Spiritual Leadership, Chicago and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Studies (Guidance and Counselling) from the University of Queensland. Marie has published in Word in Life - Journal of Religious Education (May, 1992 Vol 40, No.2) and authored Stepping Stones to Discernment, What does God hope will be my contribution in bringing about the Kingdom of God?
